Description
Whether you're a complete beginner or a potter who wants to bring your throwing skills to the next level, this will be a fun and relaxing experience in clay. Beginners will be taught how to wedge, center and throw different pots on the wheel. Experienced students can focus on throwing better forms, working on surface treatments, experimenting with glazes, or individual projects. Advice, criticism and support will be offered to all students, whether you're looking to learn something new or improve the skills you already have. Come in old clothes and bring a towel- you're going to get wet. 8 weeks.
Supplies

The $25 supply fee covers the cost of a 25-lb. bag of stoneware clay, glazes, and firing. Additional bags may be purchased at the Center. Students may access the studio on most days for practice at no additional charge!  An open studio schedule will be provided at your first class.
